The Forgetful Spuds


  Thank you to everyone that supported Anika in the March for Babies.  With your help, she almost doubled what she raised last year!  Anika raised $1, 352!!  She is so excited and has already started making plans for raising money next year.  I think a bake sale is in her future.  Here are some pictures from our day.
Anika was excited to get dressed for the March for Babies.  We found a tiara and tutu that were perfect for the day.  
Conlin was excited to join in the fun.  He insisted that he was a king and not a prince.

We were excited that my parents were able to join us again this year.

Anika was called onto the stage before the walk.  The director wanted to recognize Anika in her efforts to raise money for the March of Dimes.
We had fun decorating our wagon for the walk this year.  Anika took second place in the decorating contest.
Every year we gather with other families and make a poster to honor our children.  This year, Anika and I decided to make her poster all about her and Grace Bear.  She was excited to take her picture with her poster.
Our family picture--I'd also like to point out the amazing poster frames that Josh built.  They look fantastic and are so much easier to use and store.  He'd like me to add that they are brought to you "by the creator of beer on a stick".
The kids decided to run across the finish line with Poppa.
We did it!  Anika even walked about half of the walk this year.
After the walk and lunch, the kids had some fun with their friend, Evan.
